tall.. dark.. and...

Sometimes you come across a board that makes your heart jump, well I do.  I am completely smitten with this one!   I love it.. and the way it let's me dream of dark and masculine spaces.

Wishing you a dreamy Tuesday day!

Black Paneling

I love the impact the black makes in this space, an amazingly clean and simple backdrop for the wood detailing in the furnishings.  Just perfect.  I am also a sucker for hidden doors and the continuation of color onto the floors.  Could you handle the drama of black in your home?

botanicals..

These pieces are so fantastic.  It is always interesting to me how I can like so very many things.  I like some more than others but generally I like a lot of things a lot.  Does that even make sense?  I am not sure but I don't find many things in design that I just don't like at all.

Sorry rambling here! Point is I really like these.. what about you?  I don't often see the vintage botanicals with a black matting, what a wonderful discovery these must have been.
